Golf Tournament June 22, 2012

The Golf Fundraiser that was held last year was such a great success. Therefore, back by popluar demand, The Steven A. Hill Foundation would like to invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual Golf Fundraiser, which will be held June 22, 2012 at Bountiful Ridge Golf Course.

Attached is a flyer and application to reserve your spot and/or team for this exciting event. Remember funds raised will be used to provide post high school scholorships in Steve's name. "Never Underestimate The Power Of One..."

2012 Golf Tournament volunteers!

We are currently looking for dates for our 2012 golf tournament. We would love any input and ideas you each may have.

If you would like to help with our 2012 golf tournament please let us know ASAP.

For your information we will be asking each committee member to commit to the following: finding one sponsor, obtaining one raffle item, and one silent auction item. This is similar to what we asked last year from our committee members. We hope you will want to participate with us in 2012 to make the Steve Hill Scholarship Golf Tournament a success again.

Please let us know if you can help us this year. After we get information from local golf clubs on dates, and prices we will hold a committee member meeting to get things going.

Tournament helps foundationSYRACUSE — The family of Dr. Steven A. Hill, an educator in the Davis School District who passed away recently, has established a foundation in his memory and will hold a golf tournament as their kick-off event.Registration is open through July 15 for the tournament, which will be held at the Glen Eagle Golf Course in Syracuse, beginning at 8 a.m.Cost of the event is $60, which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart and lunch. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Dr. Steven A. Hill Foundation and be used to provide post-high school education scholarships.Hill’s daughter, Stefanie Bowen, said that after his untimely death, the family “heard hundreds of stories of how Steve made a difference in the lives of those he associated with.” She said they wanted to carry on his legacy, and “continue to touch and enrich the lives of others.”She said her father, “had the uncanny ability to connect with many different people in all facets of life, but especially in his professional career.”Her father believed that “one person truly can make a difference in the lives of many,” she said. “We hope to be able to continue to make a difference in others’ lives as we carry on his legacy.” Those interested can register by sending an e-mail to stevehill.uman1@gmail.com. ·        Friday, July 29, 2011 8:00 AM, shotgun start, at the Glen Eagle Golf Course in Syracuse, Utah.

·        $60.00 registration fee

·        Registration includes 18 holes of golf, cart, and lunch. 

·        Sign up individually or in a four man team (preferred).   

All money raised will be donated to the Steven A. Hill foundation. The funds will be used to provide post high school scholarships in Steve’s name.
